The Eby Ranch
Hunts are conducted on the Eby Ranch near Faywood, New Mexico. The sprawling vistas of the ranch combine with its rich history to provide a unique experience aside from the hunt.
The Eby Ranch is a working cattle ranch that encompasses 42,000 +/- acres.
Elevation ranges from 5200' to just over 7000'.
The cabin we hunt out of is the original homestead for the ranch and was built in the 1880's. It has been completely renovated and now provides all the comforts of home while still retaining its rustic charm.
The ranch is steeped in history from the Spanish Conquistadors to the Mimbreno Apaches that left their art carved on the stones of the ranch.

Pictographs like the one above of a horned toad are found on the rocks of the ranch.
| |

Steep slopes dotted with mahogany and liveoak brush provide abundant food and shelter for deer, the perfect habitat for growing big antlers!

Other areas of the ranch host large juniper trees and open grassy hills perfect for spotting game.
